Daniel Gormally is a Chess Grandmaster who is currently based in the market town of Alnwick, in Northumberland in England. In 2005 and 2006 he represented England in intemational competition, and in individual play he has several second places in the British chess championships, as well as first places in two English rapid play championships and a shared first in the 2006 British rapid play. He has also won numerous weekend tournaments.
He ls also an author of several well-received chess books including Pandemie Shark and The Comfort Zone, the keys to your chess success and his bestselling Toumament Battleplan of 2024.
In his time off from playing chess he likes to read unrealistic comic books, argue with other lonely people on online forums, and avoid scary people down the gym.
