De DGT 1002 is de nieuwe schaakklok uit de 1000 serie. Kleine handige en betaalbare klokjes. De 1002 klok onderscheidt zich van zijn voorganger door dat het mogelijk is om bonustijd per zet in te stellen. Ook is het nu mogelijk om elke tijd tot 40 minuten pp in te stellen. Daarna gaat de klok 5 minuten per klik omhoog.

Hij is makkelijk in gebruik en wordt geleverd met een batterij en tweejarige garantie.
